There are three main product lines that Electro-Voice manufactures --- amplifiers, microphones, and speakers. Where the history of sound reinforcement is concerned, EV has been responsible for some of the most significant innovations in the sound industry for the past 80 years. The 21st Century will no doubt see the EV line continue to provide application-specific solutions to a person's audio needs.
Recently, DMX Productions was contracted by the Q Club in Central Birmingham, UK to supply them with sound reinforcement technology. As a result, the Q Club invested in an Electro-Voice XLD compact line array system in order to achieve enhanced sound.
Also of note, the EV X-Line coupled with the EV NetMax N8000 digital matrix system was the sound system that was featured at the BRIT Awards at London's Earl's Court.
If this weren't enough news regarding EV's popularity factor, one of Nottingham's design and installation companies (OneBigStar) recently installed 12 HD plasma TV's and two large, drop-down projection screens at the Southbank Bar, and installed 12 EV ZX-1 loudspeakers to handle the sound. For those of you who don't know, the Southbank is well known for serving up to 300+ avid sport fans whenever a major cricket or football match is being played.

Prices range from $190 for a single 12" low/mid-frequency Electro-Voice DL12BFH Speaker up to $1,200 for a single Electro-Voice SXA360 high-powered loudspeaker.
